Emergency Hardware and Home Goods Donations Needed

The Rebuilding Greenville Resource Center is looking for donations of the following items. These items will go to those displaced by the Dixie Fire.

We are no longer accepting used clothing. Please contact RGRC before delivering donations.

  • Ice Cleats for shoes
  • flash lights
  • LED lanterns
  • Batteries
  • Gloves (waterproof)
  • boots
  • Wool socks
  • Warm foods and drink (soup, hot chocolate, apple cider, tea, coffee, etc...)
  • Gas cans
  • Kerosene
  • Mr. Buddy Heaters for indoor use
  • Bottled water (cases)
  • Firewood-dry, seasoned and split
  • Air horns, ammonia, bleach, pinesol (for bears and mountain lions)
  • First aid kits
  • Tarps -all sizes
  • Buckets
  • Generators
  • Window insulation for RV’s
  • Reflective Insulation Rolls for RV skirting
  • Batteries (D, C, AA, AAA)
  • Snow shovels
  • Sleds for kids

Tax deductible donations for heating assistance supplies can be made via this link, https://form.jotform.com/prsit/rebuildgreenville-donations. We purchase skirting for RV’s, heaters, window insulation, weather stripping for doors, pipe insulation, heat tape for pipes, emergency propane refills, and firewood.

Services Available

WET/DRY VACS

We are currently offering wet/dry vacs to people living in Indian Valley. Rentals are free of charge.

HEATING ASSISTANCE

FIREWOOD - If you are low on wood or if you have wet wood RGRC is in a position to help. Currently we have dry seasoned almond wood that we are mixing with mixed firewood from J&C Enterprises. If you will not have enough wood to last the next month, or if you have wet wood give RGRC a call. We deliver!

PROPANE -RGRC provides emergency propane refills for people that cannot afford to fill portable propane tanks to heat their RV. We cannot heat clients homes throughout winter however if you or someone you know is in an emergency situation, will run out of propane, and does not have funds to fill a tank please contact us!

MISCELLANEOUS HEATING ASSISTANCE -We keep in stock electric and propane heaters, 16oz propane cylinders, propane hoses, RV skirting, window insulation, weather stripping, and more. If your woodstove needs a repair and you cannot afford it please give us a call. We may be able to help find a solution.

FOOD ASSISTANCE

We have a small food pantry and donated grocery store gift certificates for people in need.

BABY SUPPLIES

RGRC has pureed food pouches for toddlers, powdered formula, diapers, clothing and other supplies. We can help babies and toddlers by providing parents or guardians with gift certificates or by helping with signups for the WIC program.

WARM WINTER CLOTHING

We have new and used coats available, new hats, a few boots, sweaters, and snowpants. If you do not have warm winter gear please contact us and we’ll either find something in our store that will work for you or we will order you the item(s).

PET AND LIVESTOCK

We receive regular deliveries from various donors that want to help fire survivor’s animals. We carry pet and livestock food and supplies. If you need help paying for a Veterinarian to treat your animal we can refer you to an organization that may be able to help.

REFRIGERATORS

We have a sign up sheet for people that do not have an operating refrigerator or that have a dysfunctional refrigerator. It is not guaranteed that we will find funding for refrigerators but we hope to do so.

BRAND NEW CLOTHING AND HOME GOODS

New Clothing, Kitchenware, New Quilts, New Bedroom and Bathroom Furnishings. All new and gently used items to set up a new home are reserved for people that lost their home in the Dixie Fire. 

TENT/CAMPING GEAR

Tents, sleeping pads, air mattresses, sleeping bags, folding camp chairs, lanterns, hand warmers, tarps, bungee cords, rope, flashlights, camp stoves, propane bottles, etc... We do not provide these items to recreational campers but only provide these items to people that are living outdoors due to the loss of their home.
