Mindful Parenting of Teens

The 7-week Mindful Parenting of TEENS class is designed to provide concrete support to parents navigating the challenging teenage years.

The course includes identifying the parent's and the teen’s personality type using the Meyers Briggs model and addresses the challenges of developing meaningful boundaries and consequences while attempting to support and encourage independent living skills. Weekly discussions will cover the topics of teen depression/suicide, eating disorders, and developing positive communication skills. The concepts of mindfulness-based stress management will also be highlighted.

The private, two-hour live video classes offer multimedia presentations, worksheets and resources, and open discussions to provide support, encouragement and guidance for parents.
