Need more information about Connect the Dots workshops, hosting a mental health training, or recieving a free consultation?
in the provision of Mental Health and Wellness training and development programs. We provide a variety of evidence-based certification courses, as well as designing training specifically for the needs of your organization.
Mental Health First Aid, ASIST, and safeTALK are funded in part by a SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training Grant (No. 1H79SM084425-01). This funding is provided to deliver free training to individuals who are employed or are residing in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas and Sierra Counties in California. We invite individuals from other locations to join our training for a set reduced fee, payable upon registration via credit card or with purchase order confirmation.
Cancellation information and fees: If you register to attend a free training and are unable to attend, you must notify Plumas Rural Services at least 7 days before the class start date, or you agree to pay a $50 administration fee.
APPLIED INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING is a 2 day interactive certification training that is offered in-person only. The training will equip you to recognize signs that someone may be having thoughts of suicide and how to complete an intervention using the PAL (Pathway to Assisting Life) model. The training is certified through www.livingworks.net and 12 CEUs are available for a purchase of $5 each. You must be 16yrs or older to participate.
safeTALK is a 3.5-4hr interactive certification training that is offered in-person only. Learn the four step model that will assist you in identifying when someone may be having thoughts of suicide, how to speak with them and how to connect them to safety. The training is certified through www.livingworks.net and 3 CEUs are available for a purchase of $5 each. You must be 15yrs or older to participate.
