In partnership with the Dixie Fire Collaborative, the Almanor Foundation, North Valley Community Foundation, and Coppercreek Camp, Plumas Rural Services is proud to offer a supportive and engaging summer camp for teens impacted by the Dixie Fire.
This 3-day camp is designed to help teens:
Reconnect with their community through caring adult mentors
Reengage with nature as both they and the environment continue to heal
Rediscover a sense of thriving beyond the challenges of the fire’s aftermath
Adventure Activities: Rock wall climbing and low ropes course to test strength, agility, and determination
Outdoor Connection: Hiking, swimming, and paddle board yoga
Creative & Wellness Workshops: Activities designed to spark creativity, promote relaxation, build self-awareness, and develop valuable life skills
Social Connection: The camp concludes with a celebratory party and live band, creating opportunities for fun, friendship, and deeper social bonds
Meals: Lunch and snacks provided daily
Registration: Pre-registration is required
This camp offers teens not only a chance to recover—but to grow, connect, and thrive.
This registration form must be completed by the parent/guardian only one time per child that will attend.
The deadline is June 20th.
