Michael Flanigan serves as a member of the PRS Board of Directors. He has called Plumas County home for more than 30 years.  Michael values the area's natural beauty, strong sense of community, and welcoming atmosphere, describing Quincy as the epitome of small-town living.

Michael earned his bachelor's degree before building a successful career spanning more than 30 years in the insurance industry. Over the course of his career, he worked in several areas of the business and owned his own insurance agency for 23 years. His extensive experience in business ownership, financial management, and strategic decision-making provides valuable insight in his role as a PRS board member.

Michael joined the PRS Board of Directors after being invited by a former Board Chair. Drawn to the organization's mission and the meaningful impact it has on the community, he accepted the opportunity to serve. He values PRS's ability to provide essential services to those in need and is continually inspired by the compassion, professionalism, and dedication of its leadership and staff.
