Loan Officer,
Plumas Bank
Marie Anderson serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the PRS Board of Directors. A lifelong resident of Quincy, Marie comes from a family with deep roots in Plumas County. Both of her parents were raised in Quincy, and all four of her children, as well as one of her grandchildren, have also grown up in the community. She values the close-knit nature of rural life while appreciating the accessibility of nearby cities such as Reno and Chico.
Marie began her career with Plumas Bank in January 1998 as a Credit Analyst and advanced through the organization to become Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. Her grandfather was a founding director of Plumas Bank, giving her a lifelong connection to the institution. Before joining the bank, she owned her own business, raised her family, and dedicated many years to volunteering with local youth organizations.
Marie joined the PRS Board of Directors in 2019 after serving as the agency's commercial loan officer. Through that role, she developed a strong appreciation for PRS's financial stability, organizational leadership, and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the community. When invited to serve on the Board, she gladly accepted and has remained an active member ever since.
Drawing on her extensive background in banking, finance, and community service, Marie provides valuable financial oversight and strategic guidance to the organization. She is particularly proud of PRS's longstanding commitment to serving the community, its ability to respond quickly to emerging needs, and its reputation as an outstanding employer.
